You are responsible for all trades entered in your TD Ameritrade account, including automated or programmed trades entered via the API. Brokerage services provided by TD Ameritrade, Inc. TD Ameritrade does not charge platform, maintenance or inactivity fees. Commissions, service fees and exception fees still apply.
